By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are investigating a burglary that occurred at a snack shop on the Belize Corozal Road in Orange Walk Town. The complainant reported that she secured the business around 5:00 pm on December 3 and returned the following morning at 5:45 am to find that the wooden louver window had been pried open.
Inside, the establishment was ransacked and numerous items were missing. The stolen property included food containers, kitchen equipment, appliances, soft drink cases, cooking utensils, chairs, a gas tank, a fan, small electronics, and a bottle containing coins. The estimated total value of the stolen items is three thousand three hundred and four dollars.
Crime scene technicians photographed and processed the location. Nearby businesses were canvassed for information and surveillance footage was retrieved. No suspects have been identified, and none of the missing property has been recovered.
