By Zoila Palma: The Belize City Council Programs Department, male Youth Shadow Councillors, UNICEF Belize, and the Community Policing Unit teamed up to kick off an exciting journey for young men across the city.
“From emotional regulation to self-identity and redefining what it means to be a positive male role model, we’re creating spaces for boys and young men to learn, reflect, and pay it forward,” the council said.
The goal is to empower 100+ young men to become co-creators of a peaceful, equitable, and thriving Belize City.
The MENgage table talk and other initiatives will be hosted by the council.
