By Aaron Humes: The manager of Reef Bar on Regent Street West reports their establishment was broken into, police say.
The manager told police that she secured the establishment, a 30-by-40-foot zinc structure, around 10 p.m. on November 29. Around 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, she returned and noticed one of the sheet metals from the northern side of the building was damaged. She then made further checks inside and discovered that an unknown amount of money was missing from a plastic bag that was inside a cupboard inside the establishment.
Entry was gained by prying open one of the sheet metals from the northern side of the building.
Police are investigating.
