By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A man from Orange Walk Town has been charged after police say he was found operating a motorcycle without proper documentation on Monday, December 1, 2025, around 8:50 p.m. Officers conducting motorcycle patrols along the Belize–Corozal Road reported seeing a man leaning a red-and-black motorcycle against the wall of Aaron’s Supermarket before walking across the road.
A few minutes later, the man returned to the motorcycle, prompting officers to approach and request the vehicle’s documents. Police say the individual was unable to provide any documentation, and the motorcycle had no license plate, no sticker, and no visible insurance tag.
Through his driver’s license, police identified the rider as 28-year-old Tyler Tyrel James of Juventus Street, Orange Walk Town. He was informed of the offenses of driving a motor vehicle not covered by third-party insurance and driving an unlicensed motorcycle. He was cautioned, advised of his constitutional rights, arrested, and transported to the Orange Walk Police Station. The motorcycle was impounded.
At the station, James was issued the required acknowledgment form and voluntarily signed it. Officers later obtained a registration certificate for the motorcycle, along with an expired insurance document (expired June 4, 2025) and an expired license sticker (expired May 2025).
