The Belize Women’s National Team were outmatched by Haiti in their opening Concacaf W Qualifier, falling 9–0 on Sunday evening at the FFB Stadium in Belmopan. From kickoff to full-time, Haiti asserted complete control, displaying the pace, precision, and pedigree of a side with World Cup experience.
Louis Batcheba opened the scoring in the 13th minute, followed by a first-half hat-trick from Nerilia Mondesir (12’, 18’, 31’) and a clinical finish from Roseline Eloissaint in the 43rd. Haiti led 5–0 at the break.
The second half brought no relief for Belize. Batcheba added her second in the 51st, Mondesir struck again in the 63rd, and Melchie Dumornay capped the night with goals in the 78th (penalty) and 87th minutes.
