Belize wakes to a calm and pleasant December 1st, weather remains fair

By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): The National Meteorological Service is forecasting another day of calm and pleasant weather across Belize as a light and variable airflow continues to influence the region. According to the morning forecast issued at 6:00 a.m. on December 1, 2025, mainly fair conditions are expected throughout the day.

Forecaster Shanea Young reports that skies will be sunny with a few clouds this morning, and only isolated showers are anticipated. Tonight, conditions become even more stable, with partly cloudy to clear skies and little to no rainfall expected.

Marine conditions will also remain favorable, with light and variable winds, a slight sea state, and waves between 1–3 feet. Temperatures along the coast are expected to reach 84°F (29°C) during the day and fall to 74°F (23°C) tonight. Inland temperatures will range from 86°F (30°C) to 69°F (21°C), while the hills will be cooler at 76°F (24°C) and 64°F (18°C).

Tidal activity includes high tides at 7:08 a.m. and 6:35 p.m., with a low tide at 12:35 p.m. Sunrise was at 6:07 a.m., and sunset is expected at 5:16 p.m. The moon will rise this afternoon at 2:23 p.m.
