By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Police are investigating a murder reported on Saturday, November 29, 2025, around 10:40 p.m. after receiving information from the Police Control Room of shots fired on Pelican Street Extension in Belize City.
Upon arrival, personnel from Precinct Two’s Crimes Investigation Branch learned that the victim, 41-year-old Belizean contractor Earl Archer, was on Pelican Street Extension when several shots rang out. Officers responded to the area and found Archer suffering from gunshot injuries.
Police immediately transported him to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital, but despite efforts to save his life, Archer later succumbed to his injuries.
A Scene of Crime technician processed the scene, where blood swabs and several expended casings were recovered. Archer was later pronounced dead at 11:10 p.m..
An investigation into the murder continues.
