By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A traffic collision on Dunn Street, Orange Walk, caused damage to both an SUV and a motorcycle on Tuesday afternoon. Police arriving at the scene found a black Saturn Vue positioned in the roadway with front-end damage and a Meilun 150 motorcycle nearby with visible damage to its fuel tank.

According to investigators, the SUV was driven by Orlando Anderson, 25, who had been parked near PM Sentry. When he attempted to re-enter the lane, Anderson reportedly failed to notice the approaching motorcycle because a Bowen & Bowen truck was parked in front of him, blocking his line of sight. The motorcycle, driven by Karla Novelo, 28, was traveling from the terminal toward Cinderella Street at the time of the crash.

Both parties agreed to handle the matter through their insurance providers and were instructed to visit the police station to give official reports. Police confirmed that both vehicles had up-to-date documentation. A rough sketch plan of the collision scene was also completed.
