By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): According to the Belize Met Service, relatively moist and somewhat unstable conditions continue to dominate the country’s weather pattern this Tuesday. The 24-hour forecast calls for sunny skies with periods of cloudiness, especially during the late morning and afternoon as moisture drifts across the region. Despite the sunshine, the Met Service notes that a few showers will develop throughout the day, with a low but present chance of an isolated thunderstorm, mainly over northern and central Belize.

Later tonight, skies will become partly cloudy to cloudy at intervals, with showers shifting toward southern and some coastal areas. The Met Service highlights that these nighttime showers may linger over the coastline before gradually decreasing toward dawn.

Marine conditions are expected to remain choppy, driven by east to southeast winds at 5 to 15 knots, producing waves between 3 and 5 feet. Fisherfolk and small craft operators are advised to monitor conditions closely as intermittent showers may reduce visibility at times.

Temperatures today will reach 85°F on the coast, 86°F inland, and 78°F in the hills, before cooling tonight to 76°F, 70°F, and 67°F, respectively. The Belize Met Service also reports that the North Atlantic Basin remains quiet, with no tropical cyclone development expected for the next several days.

Tide levels today include a low tide at 7:49 a.m., a high tide at 2:07 p.m., and another low at 6:33 p.m. Sunrise was at 6:03 a.m., and sunset will occur at 5:15 p.m.

The morning forecast was issued by Forecaster Tareek Matthews of the Belize Met Service.
