By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A man from August Pine Ridge Village was arrested on Saturday for allegedly driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Police reported that on November 22nd, 2025, a formal complaint was made and 45-year-old Jaime Nolberto, a laborer from the Orange Walk District, was arrested and charged for driving a motor vehicle whilst under the influence of drinks or drugs.
The charge was brought following a traffic enforcement operation under COMPOL Traffic, aimed at reducing impaired driving on major roadways. The accused was informed of the charge, cautioned, and taken into custody pending further processing.
Police continue to remind motorists that DUI enforcement remains a top priority as driving under the influence poses severe risks to other road users.
