
By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): Belize is in for another wet and cloudy day as moist and unstable conditions continue to linger across the country.
The National Meteorological Service reports that skies will remain cloudy to overcast, with periods of light to moderate rain expected mainly over northern Belize this morning. Rainfall is forecast to increase later this afternoon and tonight, particularly across northern and central regions, and isolated thunderstorms are also possible.
Winds are blowing from the north-northwest at 5 to 15 knots, and seas remain moderate with waves reaching four to six feet. Temperatures will stay cool and comfortable, with coastal areas reaching 78°F during the day and dipping to 70°F tonight. Inland highs are expected around 80°F, falling to 67°F later tonight, while the hills will see temperatures between 69°F and 60°F.
The tropical weather outlook remains quiet, with no storm development expected.
Looking ahead to Friday, the forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies with more periods of rain, a few showers, and isolated thunderstorms, especially over northern and central Belize. Low tide occurs at 11:34 a.m., with high tide following at 5:47 p.m. Sunset is at 5:17 p.m.
