The gathering brought together representatives from 14 Caribbean nations to address various pivotal issues concerning peace and solidarity in the region.
Delegates discussed strengthening parliamentary ties, countering disinformation, and fostering regional unity, while reaffirming the 2014 Havana Declaration and signing an agreement to preserve peace.
“The meeting concluded with a commitment to keeping the Caribbean a Zone of Peace, free from foreign military influence.
Belize stands proudly alongside its neighbors in promoting cooperation, truth, and lasting peace across the region,” a statement from the Belmopan City Council said.
