League leaders Verdes FC (27 pts) will close the regular season of the Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship against second-place Port Layola (21 pts) on Saturday, November 8 at 7:30 pm at home at the Edmund Marshalleck Stadium in Benque Viejo del Carmen. Both teams have already qualified for the playoffs, but this clash could preview the final—and offers Port Layola a chance to test themselves against the unbeaten leaders.
Verdes have been defensively dominant and remain the only undefeated team. Port Layola, meanwhile, lead the league in goals scored (32) and will be eager to challenge Verdes’ back line. Though the ranking won’t shift, expect playoff-level intensity as both sides look to send a message heading into the knockout rounds.
