By Zoila Palma: Police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred around 11 this morning in Orange Walk.
According to police reports, Westrac employees Arturo Cansino and Artemio Carpiso were inside a GMC pickup on their way to make a bank deposit for the company when 2 armed thieves on a dirt bike intercepted them.
The incident occurred on the Belize-Corozal road.
The employees were reportedly held up at gunpoint and the thieves took 2 bags with cash and cheques.
Investigation is ongoing.
