Week 2 of the Orange Walk Football Association (OWFA) Youth Tournament saw Rebels FC improved their lead in the U15 Male category with a convincing 4–0 win over Vikings FC, while San Jose FC and San Estevan Youngsters FC battled to a goalless draw in a tightly contested morning fixture.
Rebels FC, now unbeaten in two outings, displayed attacking flair and composure as they overcame a spirited Vikings side. With seven goals scored and only two conceded in two matches, Rebels sit atop the standings with six points and a +6 goal difference.
Earlier in the day, San Jose FC and San Estevan Youngsters FC played to a 0–0 stalemate, a result that keeps San Jose in second place with two points. The Youngsters, meanwhile, find themselves in third with one point after their first match.
Vikings FC, despite their efforts, remain winless but earned their first point last week and continue to show promise. Trinidad FC, still searching for their first point, round out the standings.
With momentum building, Week 3 promises more drama as teams jostle for early-season dominance.
