By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Napoles FC kept their playoff hopes alive with a commanding 6–1 victory over Capital Sport Club (Benque Viejo United) in Belmopan during Week 13 of the Premier League of Belize 2025–2026 Opening Championship. Napoles dominated from the opening whistle at the Isidoro Beaton Stadium on Saturday, November 1, 2025.
Jalen Myers led the charge with a brilliant four-goal performance, scoring in the 5th, 11th, 56th, and 77th minutes. Aloisio Teixeira added a brace, netting in the 3rd and 9th minutes to give Napoles a 4–0 lead inside the first quarter-hour. Capital Sport Club still winless this season, managed a lone response through Raheem Eagan in the 38th minute.
With the win, Napoles, with only one game remaining, climbed to fifth place on 13 points, just one behind fourth-place Belmopan FC.
The battle for the final playoff berth now centers on Belmopan, Napoles, and Wagiya—particularly Belmopan and Wagiya, who still have a game in hand and will face each other on Wednesday.
