The morning hours are expected to see a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly over southern areas, before shifting inland by the afternoon. Residents can expect a blend of warm and humid conditions throughout the day, with temperatures peaking near 90°F (32°C) inland, around 87°F (31°C) along the coast, and a cooler 78°F (26°C) across the hills.
Tonight, the weather will remain unsettled with occasional cloudy spells and scattered showers or isolated thunderstorms, particularly affecting southern Belize. The marine forecast shows calm to slight seas, with easterly winds blowing between 5 to 15 knots and wave heights between 1 to 4 feet, offering generally favorable conditions for small craft operators and marine activities.
Looking ahead to Monday, a few showers and isolated thunderstorms are expected to continue, mainly over northern and central areas in the morning, then redeveloping over the south by nightfall.
Daytime temperatures are forecast to remain steady, maintaining the warm and humid pattern typical of mid-October. Sunrise today was at 5:47 a.m. and sunset will be at 5:28 p.m., signaling shorter days as the country transitions toward the late wet season.
