By Aaron Humes: Police are investigating the death of Edward Rupert Rodney Burke, whose decomposed body was recovered from the Macal River on Thursday, October 16.
Burke was reported missing the previous day, prompting a search.
Burke’s body has now been transported to the National Forensic Science Service morgue. A post-mortem examination is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are urging anyone with information related to Burke’s disappearance or circumstances surrounding his death to come forward.
