By Zoila Palma: The MSME Tax Amnesty Roadshow is making its stop in Benque Viejo del Carmen today as part of its nationwide effort to help small business owners formalize their operations and take advantage of the one-year business tax exemption program.
The event is taking place at the Cancha Marshalleck from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) free assistance with registration and applications.
Now on its seventh day, the roadshow is part of the Government of Belize’s ongoing initiative to strengthen the MSME sector by promoting compliance, growth, and financial inclusion.
Representatives from BELTRAIDE, the Belize Tax Service Department, and other partner agencies are on hand to provide guidance and information to participants.
The roadshow continues on Wednesday, October 16, in San Ignacio Town at the Victor Galvez Stadium.
Business owners are encouraged to attend and learn more about how to access the tax amnesty and other support programs.
