By Rubén Morales Iglesias: Cuba’s Liannis Mesa Silveira claimed the Women’s Under-23 Individual Time Trial title on Saturday morning, clocking 32:15.6 over the 20.9-kilometer course Burrell Boom–Hattieville Road, Belize District.
Her time placed her fourth overall in the elite field, showing her strength and Cuba’s continued investment in youth development.
Bahamas Takes Silver and Bronze
Bahamas’ Kami Roach and Siennah Mackey followed Mesa Silveira in the U23 category, finishing in 42:45.7 and 44:45.8 respectively. Both riders also placed in the top eight of the overall elite standings.
