By Zoila Palma: Friends for Conservation and Development (FCD) joined the San Jose Succotz community in celebrating the 13th anniversary of the San Jose Succotz Library, inaugurated in 2012.
As part of the festivities, students from the San Jose Succotz R.C. School learned about FCD’s ongoing conservation efforts and key programs.
Presentations highlighted recent discoveries by the Karst Management Unit and the important work carried out by the Enforcement and Ranger team in protecting Belize’s natural resources.
FCD extended its appreciation to Librarian Mitzi Alfaro for the invitation and expressed enthusiasm for continued collaboration in fostering environmental education and community engagement.
