By Aaron Humes: Police have officially identified the woman found murdered Saturday afternoon in Belize City as Shaniele Faber, 42, a beloved school warden known for her dedication to the safety and well-being of students at Maud Williams High School.
Faber’s body was discovered partially decomposed inside a garbage drum at the intersection of Amandala Drive and Cemetery Road.
Preliminary investigations led police to detain a popular male suspect, who resides in the vicinity where the body was found. The suspect was reportedly seen suspiciously moving an item on a trolley earlier that Saturday morning.
Police investigations continue, and they are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with relevant information to come forward.
