By Zoila Palma: The National Women’s Commission (NWC) has unveiled the theme for this year’s 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence: “Prevent to Protect: Ending Gender-Based Violence Begins with Us.”
The campaign, which runs from November 25 to December 10, 2025, marks the 34th year of global activism aimed at ending all forms of gender-based violence.
The NWC emphasizes that meaningful change begins with each individual taking responsibility to address and prevent gender-based violence in Belize.
The Commission encourages the public to share their planned activities and initiatives for inclusion in the National Calendar of Events.
