Montejo previously served as the party’s Deputy Secretary-General and has also represented Belize as a senator in the House of Representatives.
Party officials expressed confidence in Montejo’s leadership, emphasizing his commitment to upholding the party’s constitution, objectives, and dedication to serving the people of Belize.
Montejo was sworn in during the party’s 75th anniversary celebrations on Sunday in Orange Walk.
