By Zoila Palma: The only major commodity to record a notable increase in Belize’s exports for August 2025 was marine products, data from the Statistical Institute of Belize (SIB) noted.
Revenue from this category rose by $1.3 million, from $4.5 million in August 2024 to $5.7 million this year.
The growth was largely driven by higher sales of lobster meat.
