Premier League of Belize: Verdes extend lead in PLB after 3–1 win over Port Layola

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: ⚽Verdes FC tightened their grip on the top spot in the Premier League of Belize (PLB) with a decisive 3–1 victory over Port Layola on Monday night at the Marion Jones Sports Complex. The win keeps the Green Machine unbeaten through six rounds and lifts them to 14 points—four clear of their nearest challengers.

Verdes’ attacking efficiency and defensive resilience have been pillars of their campaign so far, with 16 goals scored and only three conceded. Monday’s win over Port Layola not only preserved their unbeaten record but also widened the gap in goal difference, now standing at +13.
