By Zoila Palma: Mopan Technical High School is embracing democracy and innovation with the launch of its Student Government Association (SGA) elections today.
For the first time, students are casting their votes electronically, marking a historic step into the digital age for the institution.
The initiative, organized by the Student Services Department, aims to give students a real-world experience in democratic participation.
In addition to the elections, the school community is looking forward to its grand Pageant Event later this evening, where Mr. and Ms. Mopan and Mr. and Ms. Independence will be crowned.
The event promises both civic engagement and entertainment, with tickets available for just $2.
