Ministry of Health and Wellness offers sympathy to family of Baby Kaleel; reviews circumstances surrounding his death

By Zoila Palma:  Today, the Ministry of Health and Wellness extended condolences to the family of baby Kaleel Nah, who sadly passed away yesterday.

“We extend our support to the grieving family,” MoHW said.

The Ministry says that the child was taken to the San Pedro Polyclinic on September 1st for vomiting and fever.

On September 2, 2025, the child was admitted for management of an acute respiratory infection and dehydration.

The Ministry said that upon signs of improvement, the parents were advised to seek specialist care for further management.

“We are reviewing the circumstances surrounding the care provided to the child at the San Pedro Polyclinic and the events leading up to his death,” the Ministry added.

The Ministry says that since this is a coroner’s case; they will await the result of the autopsy findings.
