By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police are investigating a frightening home invasion that took place in the Surfside subdivision of Seine Bight late last night.
According to reports, a couple in their seventies was at home when armed men forced their way inside. The intruders tied up the elderly couple, held them at gunpoint, and ransacked the home before making off with valuables.
Police have since been alerted and are carrying out an investigation into the aggravated burglary. The victims, though shaken by the ordeal, were reportedly not physically injured.
Officials are urging the public to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity that may assist in apprehending those responsible.
