By Breaking Belize News Staff: The National Meteorological Service says moist and unstable conditions will continue to influence Belize’s weather today.
Skies will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated showers or thunderstorms, while southern areas can expect a few more showers this morning and tonight.
Marine conditions remain calm with light and variable winds and seas slight at one to three feet. Temperatures across the country remain warm, with the coast seeing highs of 88°F and lows of 79°F, inland highs of 92°F and lows of 73°F, and the hills cooler at highs of 82°F and lows of 68°F.
The extended outlook for Saturday calls for cloudy skies and a few showers or isolated thunderstorms in the morning. Activity will ease by the evening, with only isolated showers expected, though southern Belize may still experience a few more.
Tides are low at 8:26 this morning, high at 2:05 this afternoon, and low again at 7:33 tonight. The next high tide occurs at 1:37 tomorrow morning. Sunrise today was at 5:38 and sunset will be at 6:08. Moonrise takes place at 10:52 a.m. with moonset at 10:11 p.m.
The tropical weather outlook indicates no cyclone formation in the North Atlantic Basin during the next 48 hours.
