By Breaking Belize News Staff: Police have formally arrested and charged 56-year-old Jennifer Fitzgibbon, a Belizean babysitter, in connection with an incident involving the death of a child.
Fitzgibbon has been charged with two serious offenses: “Abandonment of child” and “Manslaughter by Negligence.” Upon her arrest, she was cautioned but chose to remain silent. She exercised her legal rights and made a phone call to her son.
Further details surrounding the case and the circumstances of the alleged abandonment have not yet been disclosed. The investigation remains ongoing.
