The Ministry of Public Service, Governance, and Disaster Risk Management proudly congratulates eight dedicated members of the National Emergency Management Organization (NEMO) Operations Team on successfully completing their Post-Graduate Diplomas in Disaster Risk Management.
This achievement represents a significant milestone in the ministry’s ongoing efforts to strengthen national capacity and resilience. The initiative was designed to enhance the technical expertise of NEMO staff, ensuring that the organization is academically equipped to respond effectively to emergencies and support the nation in times of crisis.
The graduation ceremony was held on Saturday at Galen University’s Central Farm campus in the Cayo District. The following officers were recognized for their accomplishments:
- Ms. Vanessa Parham, District Coordinator
- Ms. Kristylane Wolfe, Assistant District Coordinator
- Ms. Cassandra Jones, District Coordinator
- Mr. Ulysses Guy, Assistant District Coordinator
- Ms. Brenda Briceno, Humanitarian Officer
- Ms. Patricia Tzib, Operations Officer
- Ms. Renice Gillett, Training Officer
- Ms. Monica Coe, Assistant Geographic Information Systems Officer
The Ministry is especially pleased to highlight the exceptional academic performance of Ms. Monica Coe, who earned the second highest grade in the graduating group. Her commitment to excellence is a reflection of the high standard of professionalism and dedication embodied by NEMO’s staff.
Although not present for the group photo, both Ms. Patricia Tzib and Mr. Ulysses Guy remain integral to the operations team and were included among the graduates.
The Ministry extends its best wishes to all the graduates in their continued professional development and thanks them for their unwavering commitment to Belize’s disaster preparedness and response efforts.
