By Aaron Humes: A 14-year-old minor reported that she was robbed of her phone on Tuesday afternoon inside Rogers Stadium in Belize City.
The minor reported to police that about 1:00 p.m., she was along with another female minor on the bleachers in Rogers Stadium preparing a school project when they were approached by a Hispanic-descent male person riding a small black bicycle wearing a red shirt and short black pants with a bushy beard who approached them and sat beside them on the bleachers. He held his right pants pocket and informed them that he had a gun and told them to hand over their belongings.
The minor was relieved of her blue Motorola cell phone while her friend was also relieved of a cell phone and $30. The robber escaped out of Rogers Stadium on the bicycle.
Police are investigating.
