By Breaking Belize News Staff: Weather conditions today will be influenced by a moderately moist easterly airflow, prompting a mix of sun, clouds, and intermittent rainfall across Belize. A few showers and isolated thunderstorms are likely throughout the day, especially in inland and southern areas. As the evening progresses, the weather is expected to improve slightly, with showers becoming more isolated. However, residents in the south should prepare for a return of showers and storms during the night.
Marine forecasts indicate moderate sea conditions with easterly winds between 10 and 20 knots and wave heights between 4 to 6 feet. Mariners should exercise caution.
Temperatures remain elevated, especially inland where daytime highs are expected to reach 94°F (34°C). Coastal areas will peak around 88°F (31°C), and the hills will remain cooler with highs near 80°F (27°C). Overnight lows will drop to 72°F (22°C) inland, 80°F (27°C) along the coast, and 68°F (20°C) in the hills.
There is no immediate threat of tropical cyclone development in the North Atlantic Basin for the next 48 hours. The outlook for Wednesday indicates generally fair weather conditions, with the chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms during the day and night.
The tide schedule for today includes a low at 8:39 AM, a high at 2:15 PM, and another low at 9:09 PM. Tomorrow morning’s high tide will occur at 3:09 AM. Sunset today is expected at 6:31 PM, and sunrise tomorrow at 5:22 AM. The moon will rise at 11:04 AM and set at 11:20 PM.
