By Zoila Palma: Belize is actively participating in the 55th annual Governors Meeting of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB), currently underway in Brasília, Brazil.
The high-level regional event brings together leaders to discuss economic development, financing, and resilience across the Caribbean.
Representing Belize are Dr. Osmond Martinez, Minister of State in the Ministry of Economic Transformation; Carlos Pol, CEO in the ministry; and Henry Anderson, CEO of the Development Finance Corporation (DFC).
The meeting provides an opportunity for member states to engage in strategic dialogue on sustainable growth and regional cooperation, with a focus on accelerating development in small island developing states.
