By Breaking Belize News Staff: Belize continues to experience generally fair and warm conditions, according to the National Meteorological Service’s morning forecast for Monday, June 2, 2025. While much of the country will enjoy sunny weather today, cloudy spells are expected, with isolated showers or thunderstorms likely over inland areas this morning and along the coast later tonight.
Winds from the east to southeast are expected at speeds between 10 and 20 knots. Sea conditions remain choppy, and wave heights are estimated between three to five feet. Temperatures today will climb to 96 degrees inland, 89 degrees along the coast, and 82 degrees in the hills. Tonight, temperatures are forecasted to dip to 74 degrees inland, 82 degrees along the coast, and 68 degrees in the hills.
Looking ahead, Tuesday’s forecast indicates cloudy intervals with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly over southern Belize. The tide chart for today includes a low tide at 8:59 a.m., a high tide at 2:52 p.m., and another low at 10:11 p.m. A second high tide will occur early tomorrow at 4:23 a.m. Sunrise this morning was at 5:17 a.m., and sunset will be at 6:24 p.m. The moon rose at 11:34 a.m. and is expected to set after midnight at 12:16 a.m.
The National Hurricane Center reports that tropical cyclone formation is not expected in the region over the next 48 hours.
