By Aaron Humes: A disturbing case of animal neglect has come to light as a local horse was discovered in desperate need of veterinary care behind the “Dress for Less” store. Area residents alerted authorities, leading to an urgent call to action from local animal welfare volunteers who are now seeking immediate assistance for the ailing animal.
The situation was reported earlier today when concerned citizens reached out to animal advocates, expressing their alarm over the horse’s condition. In response, volunteers have since been doing everything in their power to secure help for the animal.
“Incredible frustration and heartbreak are all we feel right now. These cases of abuse seem to pile up endlessly, and it’s absolutely unacceptable,” a volunteer commented. “This poor horse is suffering, and we are reaching out to anyone who might be able to assist us.”
The current state of the horse remains critical, and advocates are racing against time to ensure it receives medical attention before it’s too late.
