Belize Tourism Board to unveil new wooden Basketball Court with Tournament Kickoff at Victor Galvez Stadium

By Zoila Palma:  The San Ignacio and Santa Elena Basketball Association, in partnership with the Belize Tourism Board, will officially inaugurate the brand-new wooden basketball court at Victor Galvez Stadium tonight at 6:30 p.m.

The grand opening marks the beginning of an exciting two-night basketball tournament that promises high-energy matchups and community celebration.

Thursday night’s festivities will feature a thrilling showdown between senior teams and a highly anticipated face-off between local inter-office squads.

Entrance is free for tonight’s games, making it the perfect opportunity for families and basketball fans to come out and support the local talent.

The action continues on Friday night, with more games and an entrance fee of just $3 BZD.

Organizers are encouraging the community to show up in full force to celebrate this major upgrade to the stadium and enjoy two nights of competitive basketball and sportsmanship.
