By Aaron Humes: A visitor to the City was gunned down this afternoon on the Northside.
Police responded to Hunters Lane, Belize City and found the dead man, identified as 26-year-old Zinedine Pinelo, a boat captain of San Pedro Town.
Initial investigations revealed that around 12:30 this afternoon, Pinelo and another man went to Hunters Lane to met a friend. While speaking to the friend they were approached by several male persons. One of them then pulled out a firearm and fired several shots at Zinedine Pinelo and the other man. Zinedine Pinelo was seen motionless whilst the other male person escaped unhurt.
Police are now investigating.
