By Horace Palacio: A man was gunned down inside a home in Double Head Cabbage in what appears to be a targeted execution.
Initial reports indicate that a lone gunman entered a residence and opened fire, fatally wounding the victim. Police and first responders rushed to the scene, but the man succumbed to his injuries shortly after the attack.
Officials have since identified the deceased as a known gang affiliate from Belize City. Investigators are currently on the scene gathering evidence, and a manhunt is reportedly underway for the suspected shooter.
