By Breaking Belize News Staff: Over 15 watermelons were reportedly stolen off a farm in August Pine Ridge Village, Orange Walk, according to a family member. It happened on Thursday, April 17, when a family member visited the farm and saw that all the ripe watermelons were stolen off the property. The thieves also left a mess after eating a couple of watermelons on the floor.

The family proceeded to review the hidden camera and recognized the thieves and are giving time to the culprits to either return the stolen fruit or to pay the price of the watermelon. They will proceed to defuse the video of the thieves in action if they fail to comply with the request.  They also mentioned that they will provide the video to the authorities and have them arrested.

The owner of the farm had reportedly had multiple incidents where his corn, and plantain gets stolen by the same individuals, but he commented this time they took it too far.
