The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, Culture, and Immigration announces the implementation of new operating hours at the Belize Western Border Station with Guatemala, effective April 4, 2025. These updated hours are designed to facilitate trade and enhance the efficient movement of people and goods.
New Border Operating Hours:
- Cargo Processing
o Monday to Friday: 6:00 AM – 5:00 PM
o Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
o Closed on Sundays and Public Holidays
- Passenger and Non-Cargo Vehicles
o Daily: 4:00 AM – 10:00 PM
- Pre-processed cargo Parking (by SAT Guatemala)
o Monday to Saturday: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM
o Sundays and Public Holidays: 8:00 AM – 10:00 PM
o Fee: BZ$80.00 per unit, per night (subject to space availability)
The Ministry encourages all users of the border station, including logistics operators, importers/exporters, and travelers, to adjust their schedules in accordance with the new hours.
