24th Annual BEL Junior Cross Country Cycling Classic ready to roll on Sunday, April 6

By Rubén Morales Iglesias: The Cycling Federation of Belize, in collaboration with Belize Electricity Limited (BEL), announced the 24th Annual BEL Junior Cross Country Cycling Classic will be held on Sunday, April 6, 2025, starting at 9:00 am.

This annual race will showcase the incredible talent and determination of Belize’s junior men and women cyclists. The men will embark on their grueling journey from the ferry at San Jose Succotz to Belize City via the George Price Highway. The cyclists will enter Belize City through the Lake Independence Boulevard, Chetumal Bridge and Boulevard, Philip Goldson Highway, turn at the Rotary Roundabout, and finish in front of the BEL Headquarters.

Meanwhile, the women cyclists will begin their race in Cotton Tree Village, navigating their own demanding course as they race toward the same finish line.

The event for the rising stars of Belizean cycling will certainly display intense adrenaline-fueled competition.

Whether you’re a cycling enthusiast or simply looking for an exciting Sunday activity, join the crowd along the route or at the finish line to celebrate Belize’s young sporting talent.
