The initiative, which also includes the introduction of free lunches, not only ensures students are well-nourished but creates local job opportunities, fostering a shared commitment to improving families’ well-being.
In a major development under Plan Belize 2.0, Sacred Heart College is set to become the first school in the Twin Towns to provide free education.
During last night’s manifesto launch in San Ignacio, the PUP announced that SHC is scheduled to offer free education.
This follows the successful implementation of free education at Belmopan Comprehensive High School and Mopan Technical High School.
As the initiative expands, the government’s commitment to education continues to grow, one step at a time, making hope and opportunity more accessible to Belizean families.
