By Zoila Palma: Today, the San Ignacio and Santa Elena Town Council informed that it is installing a speed bump near Sansco Supermarket in Santa Elena.
Mayor Earl Trapp announced that the adjacent lane will be temporarily used as a double lane for the next week while the concrete cures.
Trapp said that the bump is necessary to deter motorists from speeding.
“Thank you for any inconvenience caused, but it has become necessary to curb the rate of accidents in that area,” Mayor Trapp noted.
