By Aaron Humes: 73-year-old Pedro Gonzalez has been identified as the body found floating in a swamp within the Fresh Pond community outside Burrell Boom Village, Belize District on Thursday night.
The body was discovered around 7:30 p.m. It showed no sign of injury and was found partially submerged under the water.
Gonzalez was last seen alive in the morning around 8 a.m. The body of Pedro Gonzalez now lies at the morgue awaiting a post-mortem examination.
