By Zoila Palma: Today, the Executive Committee of the People’s United Party in Belize Rural North (BRN) met to deliberate on the matter of the next PUP Standard Bearer for the constituency.
The PUP noted that after careful consideration, the committee unanimously recommended Marconi Leal Jr.
The PUP says that a date will be set for the official swearing-in of Marconi Leal Jr. as the new Standard Bearer.
“The BRN Executive Committee expresses its gratitude to Hon. Marconi Leal Sr., for his service and leadership. The Committee looks forward to a seamless transition and continued dedication to the people of Belize Rural North under the leadership of Marconi Leal Jr,” a statement from the PUP said.
