Two more families receive keys to new homes through Ministry’s Housing program

By Zoila Palma Gonzales: Two men from the Corozal District were handed the keys to their new homes this week, a moment that marked the fulfillment of a long-held dream.

While both men expressed heartfelt gratitude, one shared how owning a home had once seemed impossible.

However, with the support of the Ministry of Infrastructure Development and Housing (MIDH), this dream has now become a reality.

The MIDH’s housing project, which has already benefited over 800 Belizean families, aims to do more than just provide shelter—it is about offering a “hand up, not a handout,” helping individuals and families achieve stability and independence, claims the MIDH.
