Influencer Benjamin Garcia rallies over 150 community volunteers for national clean-up day

By Zoila Palma Gonzales: Influencer Benjamin Garcia is leading the charge for a national clean-up day today in San Ignacio.

Garcia said that the initiative surpassed its goal of 150 volunteers, with support from community members including Belize Defence Force soldiers, educators, church groups, and youth organizations.

“I believe our community has many environmentally conscious individuals who are ready to come together for this meaningful initiative,” Garcia said. “Together, we can make a significant impact on our environment and community.”

All necessary supplies, including garbage bags and gloves, are being provided for the clean-up efforts.

Other groups and individuals have organized clean up initiatives on Saturday in other municipalities including Belmopan and Belize City as well as in the rural areas.
