According to the Belize Meteorological Service, isolated showers or light rain may develop along coastal areas this morning, gradually spreading to inland regions by the afternoon. Tonight, skies will become partly cloudy with minimal rainfall activity.
Marine conditions remain moderate, with east-northeast winds blowing at 5-15 knots. Wave heights are forecast to range from 3 to 5 feet, resulting in a choppy sea state. Mariners are advised to navigate cautiously in these conditions.
Temperatures will be warm and pleasant across the country. Coastal areas will reach daytime highs of 84°F (29°C) and cool to 74°F (23°C) at night. Inland regions will experience highs of 88°F (31°C) during the day and lows of 67°F (19°C) overnight. In the hills, temperatures will range from a high of 76°F (24°C) to a low of 63°F (17°C).
The outlook for Thursday and Thursday night indicates a continuation of this weather pattern, with sunny spells and isolated showers likely along the coast and inland areas.
The tidal schedule for today includes a low tide at 5:37 AM, a high tide at 11:33 AM, another low tide at 4:46 PM, and a high tide at 10:59 PM. Sunrise was at 6:26 AM, and sunset is expected at 5:38 PM. The moon will rise at 7:29 PM and set tomorrow at 8:33 AM.
Forecaster Francisca Wellington advises residents to prepare for brief showers, particularly in coastal areas this morning and inland areas later in the day. These conditions remain favorable for outdoor activities and travel, with minimal disruptions expected.
